Heather is a veteran interactive game producer with over 25 years of experience in the video game industry, including serving as senior producer on the wildly popular Fortnite for three years. She is a consultant, author, STEM advocate, entrepreneur, speaker, and an active member of the Apex community.

Heather's entrepreneurial passion, her love of games, and passion for bringing people together with unique experiences, led her to open Whole Brain Escape in Apex, NC in 2019. Heather was recognized by the Triangle Business Journal, as one of its 2020 Women in Business Award Recipients.

 

As a strong advocate of STEM education, she is committed to providing opportunities for students of all ages to get excited and engaged with technology; including internships and mentoring. In 2019, she was chosen to be an AAAS IF/THEN Ambassador, a program that supports, encourages, and inspires girls’ interest in STEM. In March of 2022 she and her fellow ambassadors were honored by having their statues displayed at the Smithsonian Institute.
